Lights, camera and action for Rose Hill Youth Club’s TV stars

ONE HUNDRED residents took part in the first film shoot for the new Rose Hill TV project.

The community project wants to bring the activities of Rose Hill Junior Youth Club to the big screen.

The final cut will play out as if someone is changing between six TV channels – music, sports, nature, news, food and a Rose Hill soap opera.

On Thursday three cameras were used to film the food channel, with residents young and old starring in a Come Dine With Me special at the community centre.

Film-maker Roly Carline said: “All the adults and kids had prepared food, while the staff dressed up as waiters. We had to feed more than 80.
