KUALA LUMPUR, October 30 – The New Youth Development Model (MBPB) 2030 will be launched in March next year to step up efforts to develop youth and nurture the “Masyarakat 5.0” (Society 5.0) in the country, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said.
He said it will be developed based on youth aspirations for youth empowerment for the next decade.
“Once implemented, the MBPB 2030 will benefit young people by improving their socio-economic status through the creation of new employment, education and skills opportunities.
“It will also strengthen support systems for young people, especially relationships with family, society and government agencies in their efforts to nurture a generation of young people who are more confident and active, resilient and capable of meeting challenges,” a- he said at the launch of the 2021 edition of the National Youth. Celebrations of the day here today.
Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, Minister of Federal Territories Datuk Seri Dr Shahidan Kassim, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun and Chairman of the Malaysian Council of Youth Jufitri Joha were also present at the event. – Bernama
