SPARTANBURG, South Carolina (FOX CAROLINA) – A local organization hosted a gala to celebrate over a decade of mentoring and community building.

Brothers Restoring Urban Hope celebrated 17 years of youth and community development with the 2nd Annual Sneaker Ball Gala in Spartanburg.

“Let’s celebrate seventeen years of community development and youth development services, and I’m so excited about it because, again, we’re not just celebrating Brothers Restoring Urban Hope,” said General Manager Victor Durrah. , “We celebrate over 300 volunteers who mentor with us, but we also raise funds for the children who are there. »

The organization’s mission is to restore the urban community using group mentorship, leadership training, and spiritual guidance.
