BEIJING, July 23 (Xinhua) — The Global Youth Development Forum held discussions on youth employment and entrepreneurship in Beijing on Friday, with more than 10 guests from home and abroad and nearly of 300 youth representatives present online or offline, according to the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China.
Guests from international organizations, companies, colleges and universities gave keynote speeches on concrete measures to support youth employment and entrepreneurship in different regions and fields.
Yu Jiadong, vice minister of human resources and social security, called for global cooperation to address youth employment issues and encouraged all parties to resolve the issues.
The forum was held online and offline from July 21-23, with nearly 2,000 young representatives from more than 100 countries attending the conference, according to the event organizer.
Initiated by the China Youth Federation, the forum saw participants discuss topics including employment and entrepreneurship, climate change and green development, digital economy and high quality education.
