In an exclusive partnership to create campus communities in 3,000 colleges, GoodGameNation (GG Nation) has entered into an agreement with Indian youth community platform Viral Fission, Asia’s largest GenZ community.
Viral Fission announced on Thursday that it has entered into a multi-year deal with GoodGameNation, India’s only esports-as-a-service platform. The goal behind this association remains to transform the gaming community in the country from a mere hobby to a lucrative career option.
Millions of Indian students will be able to benefit from the gaming clubs and communities that will be created across the country on different campuses through this partnership.
Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Esports has become one of the fastest growing companies in the world. What lends additional credibility to Esports is the fact that it is now an officially recognized medal-winning sport in multinational tournaments like the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games. It might even be included in the Olympics in years to come.
In a bid to unearth Indian talent, GoodGameNation will not only give students the platform to pursue esports as a profession but will also distribute cash prizes worth INR 3 crore to make the more lucrative overall.

India’s top Esports body, the Federation of Esports Associations of India (FEAI), has estimated that the industry will earn INR 110 crore by FY25.

The gaming clubs that will be set up on university campuses will offer students the opportunity to participate in state and national competitions.

The partnership plans to attract 100 million players over a three-year period. Approximately 16,000 intra-college esports tournaments and 10 national-level college tournaments will be held during this period.
