The senatorial candidate People’s Action Party (APP) for wave Central Senatorial District, Doctor Agbaka Obasuyireiterated his commitment to vehemently pursue the promotion of youth development if given the mandate by 2023.
Obasuyi at a press conference on Monday in Akuresaid this would be through education, skills, employment and empowerment.
He said the people of Ondo State need prominent men to represent them in the National Assembly.
Obasuyi said he has the ability, skill and passion to represent his people.
“From my first day in office, I will vigorously pursue programs and policies that will change the face of representation.
“I have always looked for platforms to enable me to pursue policies that particularly benefit the poor and vulnerable and I see this opportunity God has given me to actualize my programs for my constituents.
“I am in the race to provide positive and inclusive representation: it has been lacking.
“Ondo Central was not lucky enough to be well represented in the Senate.
“Our employees were looking for a representative who would be all-inclusive; people who have the passion, skill, ability and commitment to engage our Senate constituency in all aspects of representation.
“Without a doubt, I am that man who makes things happen for my people in the Senate,” he said.
Obasuyi called on his constituents to support him and avoid the money bag policy in his quest to give them quality representation.
“There is nothing that a senator who has represented or represents my constituency has not done that I have not done in a personal capacity.
“I believe that if I represent my people as a senator, I will do much more than them because I know what influence you can use in office to attract to your area,” he said.
