ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that holding the Commonwealth Summit in accordance with the Charter of the Multilateral Forum will have a positive impact on our common values ​​and principles.

In a virtual address at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) being held in Kigali, Rwanda, he said Pakistan is always ready to play its part in achieving common youth development goals. of the Commonwealth.

The Prime Minister expressed his determination to take all measures that could help increase digital transformation and promote literacy and skills of Pakistani youth in all forms of education and learning.

Shehbaz Sharif said that about more than sixty percent of the total population of Commonwealth countries is made up of young people who hold the future of their country in their hands.

“Furthermore, with the increased role of technology and the use of digital media, we have realized that digital transformation is the key to achieving innovative, inclusive and sustainable growth,” he added.

On CHOGM, the Prime Minister said it gave him great pleasure that they came together to reflect on their nations.

He appreciated the impacts of such a multilateral forum that could create on their common goals, values ​​and principles in accordance with the Commonwealth Charter.

The Prime Minister also announced that Pakistan would host the 10th Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting in Islamabad in January next year and invited Commonwealth Youth Ministers to visit Pakistan and explore the beauty and the diversity of this beautiful country.
