Pamplin Media Group – Milwaukie Ledding Library Youth Activities Returns Inside

0

Teens, kids and family are invited to play and have fun, just in time for back to school

As school resumes after a hot summer, Ledding Library staff are planning a series of workshops and activities to help “young people enjoy the library as a community space, as a place where they belong,” said Jessalynn Gale, children’s librarian.

The first is the Back to School Craft from 1 to 4 p.m. on September 10 in the Library’s Community Room.

All ages are encouraged to take a book bag and decorate it with paint and fabric markers.

“We wanted to celebrate back to school and give kids something they can use — their own place to keep library books,” Gale said.
