As we await the rollout of the new IMMAF Oceania Youth Development Programme, IMMAFA President Richie Cranny provided an update on the status of the course ahead of its highly anticipated launch.

Originally slated to launch in January after the IMMAF World Championships, the program is now set to open registration in March, after experiencing some certification setbacks at some gyms.

“We have 26 gymnasiums in total completing their work with children and coaching certification. It’s taken longer than expected, but the selling point of what we’re doing is good governance, and we can’t rush these things that are all part of governance to be able to tell parents that all these checks and certifications are in place.”
