Each district in Hertfordshire will receive £25,000 from Hertfordshire County Council (HCC).

Grants will be awarded for any amount up to the maximum amount for that district.

With the money, organizations will be able to set up groups to help young people meet and socialize, which has been made more difficult by the pandemic.

The money can be used for drop-in coffee sessions where young people can meet. Photo: PixabayThe sports session can also be funded by the grant. Photo: Pixabay

In the last round of grants, the HCC funded a variety of projects, including walk-in cafes, Friday night groups, sports, performing arts, and refugee support for youth.

To access an application and further information, email buildinglifechances@hertfordshire.gov.uk.

The closing date is 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2022.
